Competitions on the WORLD STAGE EUROGRADE (WSE) are included in the cultural program of the town of Sozopol, the cultural calendar of the Ministry of Culture and the calendar of CID (UNESCO).
Purpose of the competition (WSE):
• By promoting the contemporary and traditional folk arts and preserving the diversity of the main traditional valuables and the identity of various nationalities we want to ensure the preservation and cultivation of all mankind;
• To give the chance to a significant number of children and young people to manifest their talents and to contribute for their engagement in constructive creative activities as a preventive measure in the fight against vicious addictions (cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, etc.) and aggression;
• Exchange of creative information and development of achievements in different dance and musical styles.
For participation in the festival is obligatory to fill an application form, that includes: biography of the group, video recording, colour photos, address, telephone number, fax and email for correspondence.
Selection of the groups will be provided from Art Council by the following criteria:
The groups, which are approved by the Arts Council will be informed and in the same time must submit the festival fee in one of the bank accounts.
CHOREOGRAPHY (authentic, processed and stylized) no limitations to the number of participants.
Mini: 5-7 years
Children: 8-11 years
Adolescents: 12-15 years
Seniors: 16-35 years
Veterans: over 35 years
The performance must be no longer than 15 mins.
The competition shall be held in four categories:
In the competition can take part groups delivering their creativity in any of the following dance styles:
The program can include up to four dances – one in each category, with a total duration of 12 minutes.
Note: The competition will not be conducted by styles, but the most attractive performance will be sought.
VOCAL (pop, academic, choral singing, folk/folklore, old city songs, etc.):
The performance must include two songs, one of them must be a cappella and the other one must be with musical accompaniment with total duration of the performance - 7 min.
Note!!! If you want to use recorded music - only with studio record on CD or USB Flash drive. Playback is not allowed.
INSTRUMENTAL (folklore, symphonic, classical, pop, jazz, etc.):
The competition shall be held in those categories:
The performance must include 2 compositions with total duration for:
Childer until 12 years – max 10 min;
Junior from 13 to 22 years – max 12 min;
Senior – max 15 min.
Note!!! It's allowed performances representing excerpt from works with a longer duration.
THEATRE: performance with max duration of 15 min.
CIRCUS, ACROBATICS: two performances with total duration of 10 min.
CHEERLEADING: the groups are competing with only group choreography. Each group can perform two dances in every age category and competitive area.
General qualification criteria:
FASHION THEATRE (prêt-à-porter, evening costumes, children's fashion, theatrical costumes, folklore costumes, contemporary youth fashion):
Collectives present their collection in the form of a fashion show, having one or more themes with a max duration of 15 min. There are no age groups.

style (costume, hairstyle, choreography, musical accompaniment);
quality and craftsmanship;
The performance of each group should include the possibility of an independent concert as well as participation in group concerts with duration from 5 to 30 min.
Programs for the individual performance and those for the days of competition will be sent to the groups 7 days before the beginning of the contest. The organizers reserve the right to change the individual programs when necessary after their distribution.
Within each WSE competition session will be performed concerts on an outdoor summer stage in the towns of Primorsko municipality.
Before the start of the concerts, during each competition day, the groups will march on the main streets of the town of Primorko. Defiles will be guarded by patrol cars of the Police.
The organizing committee will appoint the jury as well as its president. It will be formed by proven professionals of culture and arts: directors, ballet-masters, choreographs, singers and pedagogues.
The jury has the right not to award all prizes; to share the prizes between the participants; to award special prizes and incentives.
It’s possible the establishment of special prizes such as „For the most attractive performance”, „For choreography”, „For the youngest performer”, „For master performance”; „For mass performance", etc.
The jury will select the winners by qualifying them based on a ten-score system by each of the above criteria. The minimum number of scores is 4, and the maximum - 40. The overall performance of the group / soloist will be qualified.
The winner is the participant who has collected the greatest number of scores and the same will win the prize„WSE CHAMPION” for the relevant session.
The results of each competition session are valid for the final ranking of the champions for the prize „WSE ABSOLUTE CHAMPION”. In the championship rank list are included all winners of the WSE during the respective year, and in the final ranking will be used also the results of the audience voting given at: www.eurogradebg.com. Voting for the WSE Absolute Champion is opened after the end of the last competition session for the respective year.
Participant will be awarded with diplomas: Laureate I, II, III degree and medals that will be bestowed at the closing of each competition session.
Video and photo capture of all public performances of the groups. The same will be broadcasted through the World Wide Web on the WSE TV channel.
(The organizers reserve the right to make any kind of recording, broadcasting, filming and distribution of materials without paying any rights or benefits).
The agenda of each WSE competition session will include: Discotheque „ Neptune Evening”, competitions ”Miss and Mister”, FLASHMOB events.
Participants are accommodation in hotels of Chernomorets city - accommodation 7 - All Inclusive Light. Requests for valid offers and information about accommodation can be mailed to: email@example.com.
Registration fee for the competition (does not include accommodation and food): payable once for every dancer / participant for each competitive nomination.

Group of 30 people and more - 10% discount.

Transportation costs to Primorsko and back shall be paid by the participants!!!
It’s obligatory to pay the fees by bank transfer in 15 days, after the confirmation for participation from the organizers. In this period it is necessary to send the transfer confirmation by email or fax. Applications without confirmation are canceled.
